Former Selma High School teacher LaTangela Williams pleaded guilty in a Dallas County court Friday following an investigation last fall that led to charges against her for having sexual relations with two students. One of the alleged student was a basketball player for the high school.
As part of the plea deal, Williams will spend 14 months in jail and will have 3 years of probation. She is also required to seek counseling, must register as a sex offender, and can no longer teach.
